Sometimes, when we find ourselves stuck in a limiting routine, we feel the need to take a break from the monotony, completely disconnect, leave everything behind, and live in the present moment, which is the only thing that truly matters.

Patricia and I embarked on a journey to a wonderful island in the Balearic Islands of Spain, the famous Ibiza, looking for a secluded, relaxing place that would allow us to escape and open ourselves to the experience of living something different from where we were.

One day, surrounded by this nature with smells and flavors that denote the Mediterranean, as we let ourselves go, enjoying the simple, serene and peaceful environments,
We felt time flow with a unique energy. And it was precisely in that moment, surrounded by people sharing mezcal at sunset, that we were able to experience the wonderful connection that exists between us all.

This connection, which we call "Community," has inspired us to continue being part of something bigger than ourselves, in situations or places where we can feel our own energy, live authentic experiences, and let go of everything that pigeonholes us, to a certain extent, find ourselves again.

That's how we decided to create Ojo de Isla, a handcrafted mezcal from Mexico that conveys the spirituality and energy we feel on this beautiful island. "Disconnect to Reconnect."
